WHAT'S THE 3&2 BASEBALL IN-SEASON ACADEMY?
Simple; it's continued development through practice. Too often players work throughout the off-season and then once games start, they forget about practice. The goal of this program is to provide one-day per week as an official practice day. Each of the 8 weeks will be scripted with different skills, taking full advantage of our outdoor access. Practices will be run similar to a high-end travel program. Our goal is to make practices early in the week, early on that day, to avoid conflicts with travel and/or house commitments. 

IS THIS A TRAVEL TEAM?
No, not at all. Last year we had 14 different organizations represented amongst our players. This does NOT replace travel or house ball, it's meant to run along side your current program. We're not looking to move players between organizations, we're looking to grow the game and help them become the best ball players they can when they go back to their team!

WHERE WILL THE IN-SEASON ACADEMY BE HELD?
With Clarence opening up, we're looking to host the In-Season Academy at 2 locations. They will be within a few short miles from our current locations to make sure the commute is easy. We'll announce locations as soon as we have final word from the leagues.

ARE THERE DIFFERENT AGE LEVELS?
Yes, we will have 4 "teams" between both locations. Players can register for one location or both if they'd like.

HOW CAN MY SON BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROGRAM?
The goal is development, so with that being said we plan on keeping small groups with an attention to detail, reps and more reps. This program will only have 12 spots for each Tonawanda and Clarence. Players can choose to participate in both groups if they choose to do so. To be considered, please fill out the form below. Last year we had over 60 applicants and 31 players were selected. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED AND HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
Players will receive 8 practices, each 2-hours long. Along with that, they'll receive a custom 3&2 dry-fit jersey and a matching hat. During the final week, we'll be playing a scrimmage game against a local travel team for the kids to enjoy themselves and apply all the tools they've acquired.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
In the event of a rainout, we'll relocate our practice indoors to 3&2 Baseball Tonawanda or Clarence. Upon acceptance to the program, all families will be invitied to join TeamSnap for easy communication and updates.

HAVE YOU DONE THIS BEFORE?
Our In-Season and Off-Season Academies have become a staple of 3&2 Baseball. So much so that we now run them year round. There's no such thing as a quick fix or instant improvement in the game of baseball. Reps, reps, reps is a common motto in baseball. The more you practice, the better you become - it's that simple. However we hold our Academies to a different standard, which is simply "Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect". Our goal is to have fun this summer, while improving on the diamond. Each week will be warmups, instruction and game scenarios to keep the kids in full baseball mode through August!
